A 20 minute sample from the Striated Vistas 2.0 media display exhibited at KG+ 2015, Kyoto. "Narcissism of Small Differences," Kinch [M. Casey Rehm, Xingtai Sun, Kellen Cartlidge]. Still from an image manipulation machine which uses two machine vision based agent systems to antagonistically degrade and repair the canvas. Still life paintings by Rachel Ruysch were used as inputs. "Striated Vistas 1.0," Kinch with Yuna Yagi. A still frame from the the Striated Vistas 1.0 media display exhibited at Yuna Yagi's solo show "It's a one world" at Gallery 23, Kyoto, 2015 "Oblicu," P-A-T-T-E-R-N-S with M. Casey Rehm. A sample of 1/64th of a 25'x7' print done in collaboration with PATTERNS for the 2015 Chicago Biennial exhibition. This close up sample demonstrates a machine vision based algorithm which exposes color regions and flow from a composite series of drone photographs of the City Park, Budapest. These techniques also serve to obfuscate voids and seams in the drone patchwork. "Blindspot_Interlace," Kinch, Samples from NASA landsat gallery. Contrast based composite of four satellite images of major western cities using interlace based degradation and blob detection [trees] based restoration "Blindspot_Significant Regions," Kinch, Samples from NASA landsat gallery.
